In one year he added Kaiser-Frazer, thinking it was going to be as important as Chevrolet and Ford. He said, "The farmers would come in and buy farm equipment. You'd try to sell them a Kaiser-Frazer and then you'd see them driving a Chevy."
It did not take long for Hudiburg to decide to open his own Chevrolet dealership, settling in the metro area in 1957.
In the last 51 years, Hudiburg's business has grown from one dealership with eight employees to four dealerships with more than 400 employees.
Paul Hudiburg doesn't know what he would have done if he didn't start selling tractors and cars when he was 22, but he knows one thing. "It would have been a different life," he said.
